About the hosts

Paul Scanlon

Paul has over 30 years of experience starting and growing financial services businesses in Australia. He loves learning and so has never stopped. 

He currently holds a MBA with Distinction (Griffith), a Master of Political Economy (Sydney), a Master of Applied Finance (Macquarie), a Master of Science (Coaching Psychology) (Sydney), a Master of Law (Bond), and a Bachelor of Business (Griffith). He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and FINSIA, a Chartered Banker, and a graduate member of the AICD. In addition, he has completed a Certificate IV and Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking. 

When he is not nose down in books and journals, you can find him competing in ocean swims and triathlons, playing guitar and spending time with his growing family.

Domenique Sherab

Domenique is a researcher and analyst. She has a knack for simplifying the complex and loves applying her skills to challenges wherever they may lie. 

This has taken her from Australia, through the Middle East, UK and Canada where she worked in the private, university and NGO sectors. She holds a Master of Science of Refugees and Forced Migration (Oxford) and Master of Political Economy with First Class Honours (Sydney). 

In her spare time Domenique enjoys reading, yoga, kickboxing, playing with her American Staffy, and testing new cooking recipes.
